In 2019, Barbara approached director/producer/writer Enzo Tedeschi with an idea for a short film. His response was, “Let’s do this!” Barbara wrote her first script and collaborated with Enzo and Deadhouse Films to bring Over the Edge to life. The Hitchcockian thriller toured the international film circuit, winning the Audience Award in the Dramatic/Horror Short category at the Coronado Island Film Festival.

In 2023, Barbara and Enzo developed an outline for a feature film version of Over the Edge, receiving Development Funding from Screen Australia. Together, they have since written their first psychological thriller.

Barbara also served as Executive Producer on the 2024 production of Resonance.
