Born and raised in Hawaii, Barbara got her start in TV with a role in the original Hawaii 5-0, and moved to LA in 1978 to pursue acting and enjoyed success there for 18 years. Starring in a variety of TV, film, commercial and stage roles, Barbara worked with some of the finest directors in the business.

Through her talent and hard work, Barbara was fortunate to be one of the few actors in SAG to earn a living as an actor.

Barbara moved to Australia in 1996, where she continued her career as an actor. Her focus has diversified into corporate roleplay, screenplay writing, and print. This includes co- founding and becoming a partner at Corporate Actors Australia, three new film and TV projects to her credits, and a return to print work as a mature model.
