About Barbara

Barbara launched her television career on the set of the original Hawaii Five-O. Surrounded by lights, cameras, and organised chaos, she knew instantly she had found her place. Soon after, she left her island home for Los Angeles, immersing herself in training and building a career across television, film, stage, and commercials over the next two decades.

After relocating to Australia in 1996, Barbara expanded her work into corporate role play and forum theatre, performing in high-stakes, unscripted environments that sharpened her listening, emotional precision, and understanding of human behaviour. She is a co-founder and partner of Corporate Actors Australia.

Returning to screen work in 2019 with renewed purpose, Barbara now works across acting, writing, and producing, drawn to stories that reflect lived experience, human connection, and the belief that it’s never too late to evolve.
